iconos® Vertriebs GmbH develops and supplies permanently installed extinguishing systems especially for storage boxes in recycling plants, paper mills and other industrial plants. The pipe system, which is installed both on the top of the wall and at the front of the storage box, uses nozzle hoses as the basis. Thanks to the numerous, strategically placed nozzles, an area of 500 m² can be irrigated evenly with a single feed point. Potential fire pockets and overheated areas prone to spontaneous combustion are effectively cooled.

The significant reduction in flying sparks and heat development effectively prevents the fire from spreading to adjacent storage areas. The fine water mist also protects neighboring boxes or storage areas. The fine water droplets that emerge from the nozzles penetrate deeper than a conventional water jet. With a double box unit (20 m x 25 m per box), an area of 1,000 m² can be irrigated or extinguished from above with just one feed via the B line at a water consumption of 2,540 l/min and a water pressure of 7 bar.
The fine droplets of the water spray extinguishing system create a rapid cooling effect through rapid evaporation. This reduces heat radiation and the risk of spontaneous combustion can be prevented as part of the fire protection measures.
Planning is carried out in accordance with local conditions and the applicable fire protection regulations.
